Modi 3.0 & twenty4*7

Its 2047, Bharat’s 100th Independent year and the year when we are being counted in developed countries. It took 4.5 centuries from turning ‘Sonae ki Chidiya’ to ‘chidiya’ and will take just a century to get back our status. Yes, we Bhartiya are underdogs who slowly & steadily will get our wealth back by perseverance, hard work and right attitude, show our mettle to Universe (expecting some Bhartiya staying on Mars or another heavenly body). Modi 3.0 tenure visions of Shresth Bharat, Ek Bharat and lay down the required efforts that every Bhartiya dreams of.

In last 2 tenures there were tremendous efforts to fill the digs, iron out the obstacles for laying down foundation of Shresth Bharat and yes, we are ready to raise the structure. This could have been achieved earlier had previous regime have thought in this direction. 2024 marks the year of Pran Pratishtha of Ram Mandir and 2047 will be the commencing year of Ram Rajya or maybe earlier. BJP’s Sankalp patra promises UCC, One Nation One Election, Olympic 2036 hosting, Global Manufacturing hub by 2030, CAA, various social welfare schemes and vision towards 2047.

BJP politicians right from top Modi/Shah duo to CMs have persistently chanted everyday the mantra Dalit, Peedit, ShoshitVanchitKisan, Gareeb & Majdur kalyan’ and this mantra have attained 2 successive tenures and state govts across Bharat. Modi govt have executed big missions at war level with grand success and attempted & learnt where the outcome was not as per the expectations. Surely, BJP has planned for the next 5yrs and the steps required till 2047 for the hope they are nurturing in every citizen’s mind. Undoubtedly, Modi worked twenty4*7 for past a decade and leaving no stone unturned to achieve the milestone. Be it the diplomacy or new niche areas wherein Bharat is trying to make itself not only self-reliant perhaps ready to serve the globe, semi-conductor or AI or Defense technology or rise in exports.

This last decade journey need to speed up, what has been achieved in 10yrs the same has to achieved in minimal time for exponential growth thereof. For Bharat to be counted as developed by 2047 or earlier we need:

-      Average GDP growth has to be 12% YOY, very tough but not impossible. A favorable environment for the businesses. Bharat performed phenomenal over a decade with world ranking 63rd which was 142nd. This needs to be further improvised & make environment more conducive to get more & more foreign investors making every $bn bet going nowhere else but here in Bharat. Modi rightly said we are the biggest consumers so why not biggest producers & exporters. Relaxing taxes and the process involved is one another way to attract FDIs across the industry which will perhaps give room to local industry, SMEs & MSMEs to learn & grow in parallel. Incentives for startups need to be more lucrative than ever. We built 100s of unicorns in past a decade and this process needs to be further promoted with more relaxation, indeed hand holding wherein Govt too participate with limited access. Manufacturing is the key, we have to have move from Agriculture based economy to industry & services-based stalwart at a higher pace than ever before, boosters from time to time to accelerate growth as per the global equations building up to get this 12% figure on target. Bharat has to create 100s of Ambanis, Adanis, Tatas, Birlas by next decade if we have to pick every growth opportunity how major or minor it is. Imports need to be further reduced with in-house production which in turn will decrease trade deficit. Defense imports are minimized, exports are increasing indeed over a decade time. Different industries have their own requirements to grow with interdependency dragging them, this needs to be addressed at mass level.

-

-    Empowering local governments, fostering community participation, and decentralizing decision-making to address local development needs effectively. Uttar Pradesh 7years ago was termed as ‘Bimaru’ state along with Bihar despite enormous opportunities and demographic dividend. Yogi regime changed it all, the perception, and ratings through its no non-sense, non-compromising & go getter attitude. Every district of UP got some thing or other exclusive product/skill which stands it out, Yogi govt capitalizing it & changing the fortunes of state & its natives. Similar model required in states which are not doing well, Bihar is one such state where this model needs to be implemented at war level. If Bihar & other backward states get triggered, it will add at least 2-4% to Bharat’s GDP.

-  Effective education system that adds to skill of our youth with real time relatable experiences with industry will create more opportunities & demands for the nation as whole. Gurukuls of ancient times emphasized on such patterns & were more fruitful than just mere bookish knowledge. We also need to honor deserved while we are trying to uplift the marginalized by reservation. Top global CEOs are now from Bharatiya origin, be it Satya Nadella, Sundar Pichai, Arvind Krishna or Shantanu Narayen, the list is endless. Just imagine had they served Bharat, had there been conductive environment then we would have done wonders & probably ahead of US. We must be hotbed of R&D centers; this is must for any country to grow and make a sustainable development, South Korea & Japan are biggest example. The IITs, IIMs, IISs, AIIMS & many more institutions must be at par of MIT, Stanford, Oxford or Berkley. Reservation policy review is much required, it’s has become mere a political tool for vote bank politics. A family should be given benefit of reservation once, inheritance should stop immediately so that it can reach to the marginalized section of society who utmost needs it, this will not only raise weaker section of society as whole but empowers nation to do more.

-      A healthy nation is a wealthy nation. Modi regime is trying to push hard but we haven’t achieved even 10% of what it should be when it comes to global health parameters looking at the size of population we cater. We gifted life in the form of Corona vaccines to the entire world, many similar initiatives of producing indigenous vaccines for critical diseases are required so that masses can avail health benefits without second thought. Bharat needs to make its mark in Life Sciences, Pharma, Healthcare & other dependent industries to make it big. We talk about climate change & here Delhi/NCR & neighboring states suffer huge economic losses due to bad-to-worst AQI figures, breathe in smog for entire winters with low visibility. It dents our opportunities of tourism and image of clean & green Bharat. We are world’s largest populated country, for next 15-20yrs maximum 2 children law in a family must be brought in immediately without any relaxation to any section of society. Additional incentives for 1 kid family will further help in availing more benefits to existing masses.

-        Tourism is one another big area where it can catalyze the growth & add to GDP numbers. ‘Atithi devo Bhav’ the mantra can make the difference; the hospitality and warmth of our culture & cuisines can attract tourists across the globe which is just 1/10th currently of what US earns using tourism. We got some magical landscapes across the country to be ecstatic & relax there. A strict law on littering is need of time so that our spaces remain clean when we visit Kashmir to Kanyakumari or Kutch to Arunachal, penalties similar on lines of traffic rules are must, collections can be used to beautify the spots & create new avenues. Singapore which is lesser than size of Noida or Gurgaon, doesn’t have history to showcase earns proportionally well when compared to us, they have artificially created spots to attract tourists. Not to forget temple tourism is making it grand, OYO’s 40% of earnings are around holy places.

-   Strengthening legal and judicial institutions, ensuring the rule of law, and expediting dispute resolution mechanisms is much required for Bharat on the path towards developed nation. Though in FY23-24 the legal & judicial reforms have kicked-off but there is more room to make them efficient. The first law should be the law to stop misusing laws as per convenience, harsh punishments in provision can only deter people and system involved in misusing them. SC/ST act & 498A have given enough evidences of misuse but fails to misuse, they not only destroys a person perhaps entire family. For Bharat the family structure is the biggest source of togetherness & happiness in this growing lonely world & collapse of such structure will kill roots of Bharat. CAA & NRC should be swiftly implemented to keep check on illegal migrants and provide aid to the victims from different communities seeking asylum in Bharat. In a democratic setup, right to protest is topmost right but this doesn’t mean that a certain section of society can hold streets/highways/cities on ransom for days/months for their unwanted demands causing deep stress & pain to masses. Delhi bears maximum protest across nation mostly for no reason, this not only destroys domestic trade resulting into loss of livelihood to many indeed it creates a bad image across the globe. Email advisory in corporates or by other countries to their citizens to be safe while visiting India causes immense pain. Modi 3.0 need to take this up seriously, not let it loose for political gains.

-      Tech is playing important role in rise & ease of doing business, UPI success roared across the globe. The ease of making payment dropped jaw of various developed countries. Several existing & budding Fintechs are talk of town. Digital India’s footprints are quite evident since a decade, it not only empowered the weaker section indeed squeezed gap created by corruption. Our IT industry is the biggest exporter & service provider of software. We got lakhs of startup & some of them turned unicorns providing employment opportunities to lakhs of graduates coming out of college. Since the world is adapting Artificial Intelligence, Bharat needs to adapt new methods to capitalize on their existing setup. Facilitate technology transfer, knowledge sharing, and capacity building through international partnerships and collaborations.

-       Last & not least tax reforms are necessity of a developing nation transiting to developed one, creating new dimensions to existing growth opportunities & all-round development. The bigger the cake the better it is, be it industry or salaried class both need respite from heavy taxes. So, if you need to give respite to existing then you need more participants to contribute, that means volumes is the key. Modi 2.0 did grab the opportunity in COVID times but we still have room to welcome industrial revolution. Let there be lakhs of industry paying crores of taxes then thousand of them paying n times of crores to meet halfway demand. Similarly for salaried class, this is something Modi regime didn’t address properly, showing gratitude doesn’t help who end up paying 10-30% of income tax & an additional 10-15% of taxes levied on goods and services amounting to 40-45% tax annually for a 30% taxpayer. Tax for any class shouldn’t cross 30% indeed, either you provide rebate or assistance in education, health & other services. The Anndaata were seen in Hummer, Endeavor, Fortuner while coming for protest for farm laws etc., while the labour from Bihar/UP worked in their farms they ransack the entire machinery. Under Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna, farmers are getting Rs.6000/pa, I request to raise it to Rs.10000/pa & tax the income >10lakhs earned from agricultural produce on the lines of income tax. We can introduce the concept of tax holiday or tax sale during unknow certain periods in a financial year during which govt will provide tax discounts to buyers or industrialist in their investments/returns. Govt can also introduce another section under tax rebates for the products/services offering of new growing industries similar on the lines of 80C to raise investment for such sectors.

-   It is very important that citizens of a country stay united overall though they can independently fight for their rights. Hindutatva, the thread which is uniting 100crs of Hindus in & across the globe. The Pran Prathistha of Ram Lala echoed sentiments of every Bhartiya, it emboldens their faith in Hinduism & lord Ram. This grand event ironed out the differences and started a new chapter of harmony & prosperity. The country is determined to, ‘Jo Ram ko laye hai Humae Unko Lana hai’. The country will once again bestow its faith on Modi’s leadership and empowers him to do more for this country. People will again vote for the PM who works twenty4*seven to make 2047 Bharat desh, ‘sonae ki chidiya’.
